Dr. Chi is Engineering Specialist in the Materials Consulting Services Department of Saudi Aramco. He is a member of multiple coating and corrosion societies. He has been with Saudi Aramco for 12 years and had worked at Samsung Heavy industries for 18 years as a senior research engineer. He holds several certifications such as Protective Coating Specialist (PCS) from AMPP, Coating inspector Level 3 from FROSIO and Fire proofing coating inspector Level 2 from ICorr. His background is research coating material, failure analysis, coating automation, developing application method in the Marine, Oil & Gas industries. Dr. Chi holds Ph.D. in Industrial Chemistry engineering from Pukyung National University in Busan, Korea
