Eng. Saleh Zaben Almutairi is a senior maritime and environmental leader with over 19 years of experience across the maritime transportation, logistics, regulatory, and energy sectors.​ ​ He currently serves as General Manager of Environmental Performance for the Transport and Logistics Sector, where he leads initiatives focused on environmental sustainability, compliance, and performance enhancement across the sector. He also serves as Chair of the Marine Engineering Division at the Saudi Council of Engineers.​ ​ Throughout his career, Eng. Almutairi has held several prominent leadership positions, including General Manager of Maritime Affairs at the Transport General Authority and Fleet Operations Manager for Saudi Aramco’s marine fleet. His experience spans maritime operations, marine engineering, regulatory development, environmental management, and strategic sector transformation.​ ​ He holds a Chief Marine Engineer Certificate of Competency and has completed specialized studies in Environmental Impact Assessment and Sustainability in Spain. Through his professional and leadership roles, he actively contributes to advancing maritime excellence, environmental stewardship, and the development of engineering capabilities in support of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and its ambitions as a leading global maritime and logistics hub.
