Sadiq Almutawa is the Country Manager for Saudi Arabia & Bahrain at DNV, leading the company’s maritime growth, strategic positioning, and key stakeholder engagement across the region. Since joining DNV in 2019, he has served as Principle Surveyor, Lead Auditor, and Maritime Manager, contributing to the expansion of DNV’s role in the Kingdom’s rapidly developing maritime sector. With over two decades of experience in maritime and energy, Sadiq began his career with Vela International Marine and Bahri, supporting major newbuilding and technical advisory projects. In 2015, he joined ExxonMobil as Business Development Manager for Saudi Arabia, driving market growth initiatives until 2019. Sadiq is a certified Marine Engineer, educated at Northumbria University in the United Kingdom, and is recognized for his technical depth, commercial leadership, and strong industry relationships.
